Workshop Description

Get ready to get your hands dirty with creativity! This workshop is perfect for people who are passionate about painting and planting! You will be provided with a plain pot to pour your magic into. Marzieh will show you a few painting and collage techniques to cover your pot with your favourite designs. Then you will be provided with little plants from Marzieh's plant collection, and you will get to plant them in your one of a kind pot that you painted yourself! This will be a great opportunity to reconnect with your friends or make some new friends while sharing your love for painting and planting! Materials and supplies that will be provided for participants to use during the workshop: clay pot acrylic paint acrylic medium tiny and cute plants collage pieces brushes palette cleaning supplies About the instructors: Marzieh Mosavarzadeh is a visual artist and art educator who lives and works in Vancouver, BC. Marzieh has been teaching and making art professionally for more than 10 years. She is pursuing her PhD in art education at the University of British Columbia. Marzieh holds her MFA in printmaking and BFA in painting. What to wear: Please consider wearing comfortable clothes.
